But yeah, my eyes have been not so great lately what with the headaches and eye strain. It turns out that my eyes haven't gotten any worse. My prescription is exactly the same as it was the last time I got my eyes checked. Five years ago. I guess that's good. But the way to deal with this, since obviously getting new glasses won't do it, is to start wearing contacts. Well. Contact. Period. My right eye is completely perfect. My left eye? Not so much with the perfectness. Yes, I have a lazy eye. But it doesn't look like a lazy eye when you picture what a lazy eye is. It all has to do with the muscles in my eye not working right or something. I don't really know. I'm in Law School, not Med School. But yeah, in order to rectify the headachey situation (since I can't stop reading so much) is to wear a contact on my left eye. That should make my eye start working better. Good times. The thought of sticking something in my eye still freaks me out, but I'll do what I have to do.
In other news: I kind of really like Relient K's song that's on MTV right now. I have no idea what it's called, but I like it. I just have a question - is it about Jesus? Because Relient K is a Christian (I think I just accidentally typed Christina. Oops. I think I fixed it though.) band right? I think that's what I remember. I mean, I guess the lyrics could be about Jesus. "If anyone could make me a better person, you could." "You came along one day and you rearranged my life." I don't know. They've probably moved past being a Christian band. But it's possible. I like the first line of the song talking about getting jerseys because they make a good team and whoever (Jesus or a girl) being out of the dude's league. It made me laugh. But yeah, this made me think of Michelle Branch's song Everywhere. I remember hearing when that song first came out that it was about Jesus. Who knows? It's either Jesus or the dude in the video. And the Relient K song is about the girl with the soccer ball or Jesus. I don't know.
Okay, I think I'm going to wrap this up to go take a nap. The sun and straining made me head hurt. This sucks because I have the first draft (worth a quarter of my grade) of my appellate brief due tomorrow at noon. Awesome. I'm just editing now, but my eyes won't be workign for a couple hours. Boo that.
